Aim of Course |
To build on the PowerPoint 2000 skills already learnt in the Introductory Course. To enable power-users to prepare and produce a slide show to an advanced standard. To discuss the skills needed to make effective and interesting presentations. |

Designed for participants who have a good knowledge of computing and need to use PowerPoint as a training aid and conference tool. |

Structure of Course |
This course will let the participant work through step-by-step exercises that will show them how to create a variety of slides and run a complete slide show with animation, sound effects and hyperlinks. |

Training Facilities |
Training will take place in one of 4 fully equipped training suites delivered by professional lecturers. Up to date multimedia and interactive software/smartboards. Free on-line back-up support after training. |

- Overview of screen layout/ control boxes
- Dialogue boxes/using toolbars/customizing toolbars
- Creating a multi page presentation
- Edit and format the presentation/Use non wrapping text boxes
- Work in different page layouts i.e.,outline, notes view etc
- Identify different slides, place holders
- Delete slides/move, cut and paste slides
- Print multi slides on one sheet
- Printing Options (choose exact slides to print)
- Use the Style Master
- Animate slides
- Set timings for animation

- Run and control a slide show
