Aim of Course | The Security Industry Authority (SIA) manages the licensing of the private security industry as set out in the Private Security Industry Act 2001. This scheme aims to regulate the private security industry by protecting society by achieving high standards for all. From 1st April 2010 an SIA licence is legally required if you undertake the licensable activities of a door supervisor in N. Ireland. |

Who should attend | A Door Supervisor licence is required if manned guarding activities are undertaken in relation to licensed premises. A Door Supervisor licence is required if you are performing this activity on behalf of yourself or your employer or your services are supplied for the purposes of or in connection with any contract to a consumer. |
Course aims | This course aims to provide anyone working in this industry with skills to develop their knowledge and to provide the necessary qualification to help participant achieve the licence.
